Nascido em 1983 em Lille (França), Bastien Dubois obteve seu diploma em Direção CGI pela Supinfocom Valenciennes em 2006. Seu primeiro filme independente Madagascar, a Journey Diary foi baseado em uma viagem para a ilha, exibido em mais de 200 festivais internacionais, incluindo Sundance, e indicado ao Oscar em 2011. Em 2012, ele dirigiu um programa de TV baseado no filme chamado Faces From Places, uma série de 20 filmes animados de três minutos sobre viagens em vários países ao redor do mundo. Em 2013, Bastien lançou Cargo Cult, um curta-metragem animado que se passa na Papua Nova Guiné durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.

Born in 1983 in Lille (France), Bastien Dubois earned his diploma in CGI Directing from Supinfocom Valenciennes in 2006. His first independent film, Madagascar, a Journey Diary, was based on a one year trip. This film was screened in more than 200 international film festivals including Sundance, and ultimately garnered an Oscar nomination in 2011. In 2012 he directed a TV program based on the movie called Faces From Places, a series of 20 animated 3 minute travelog films featuring various countries around the world. In 2013, Bastien released Cargo Cult, an animated short film which is set in Papua New Guinea during the second world war.
