Todo mundo já foi para Marte

Silvia não vive mais na Terra. Ela tenta relembrar nas memórias de infância algum significado para sua nova vida em Marte. Essas lembranças a trazem de volta a 2020. É estranho, mas elas estão de alguma forma mescladas com outras. Retratados por diferentes artistas, dentro de seus próprios estilos de animação, que refletem como o isolamento os afetou, as mudanças e problemas que enfrentaram.

Synopsis: Silvia no longer lives on Earth. She tries to recall through childhood memories some significant meaning to this new life on Mars.  These recollections bring her back to 2020. It’s weird, but they’re somehow merged with others. Portrayed by different artists, within their own animation styles, they refer to the way isolation affected them, the main changes and problems they faced. Was it just an illusion?

Telmo Carvalho se especializou em cinema de animação pela Embrafilme e National Film Board of Canadá, em 1985. Foi um dos fundadores do Núcleo de Cinema de Animação da Casa Amarela Eusélio Oliveira, Universidade Federal do Ceará. Dirigiu vários curtas em animação, entre eles, Campo Branco, de 1997, eleito pela ABRACCINE entre as 100 obras mais importantes da animação brasileira. É também orientador de cinema de animação em oficinas socioeducativas, tendo produzido mais de 60 filmes com as crianças e jovens participantes. É sócio da Tusche Produções e diretor da série animada para a televisão: Um Conto Em Cada Ponto – Ancine/ EBC.

Director:
Telmo Carvalho graduated in Animated Filmmaking by Embrafilme (Brazilian Film Institute) and by the National Film Board of Canadá, since 1985. One of the animated movies’s precursors in the state of Ceará, has collaborated on the development of it for the last four decades. Campo Branco (1997), one of his works, was a laureate among the 100 best animated movies by Abraccine (Brazilian Film Critics Association).
